As you can see from above, we used one screen & a reduction method of printmaking. Our method of registration is called flop, which is a quick and dirty way to register new colors atop each print. (A taped down bit of mylar is printed with each new layer, then used to shimmy the paper around so everything lines up properly with the inked stencil in the screen.) The red in the first image is our stencil made from screen filler painted directly onto the screen (our screen is yellow, hence the color of the bird and lettering there). Stencils leave an open area through which ink is smooshed* via squeegee.
