Messy Kissin’ is from my ghost girls series:
These tattooed ghost girls are part of an ongoing series examining aspects of beauty and vibrant color. Each begins as a portrait inspired by strangers, stories, or poems. It is my aim to excite the eye, and remind the viewer of someone they know, or perhaps someone they’ve only dreamed about.
The images above & below this text are from an older part of the series, where I tinted a few of the portraits with watercolor. These girls have all found homes in the possession of other people, but I remember them fondly. These were made with the addition of a fountain pen and some gel pen, as well as a little prismacolor pencil.
