An artist-friend is putting together a traveling show of tiny artworks, and I happen to know that a lot of sweet (art-wise & person-wise) folks are involved. The first stop on the tour is (tentatively) scheduled for October in Louisville.
(More on that as I know it.)
This is just a little preview of of my pieces—painted drawing featuring my ghost girls and their black line doodle-tattoos.
These tattooed ghost girls are part of an ongoing series examining aspects of beauty and vibrant color. Each begins as a portrait inspired by strangers, stories, or poems. It is my aim to excite the eye, and remind the viewer of someone they know, or perhaps someone they’ve only dreamed about.
